Medical-pharmaceutical

For many years Wilkens c.s. has been providing translations for the medical-pharmaceutical sector, in the fields of both human and veterinary medicine. We have set up a separate branch for this work: Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations. Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations has built up a worldwide network of specialised medical translators and revisers which includes doctors and pharmacologists. Our clients include international pharmaceutical companies, producers of medical aids, government bodies, hospitals, insurance companies, medical advertisement bureaus and foundations.

In addition to SPCs, ICFs, study protocols and information leaflets, we translate medical-technical texts such as hardware manuals and software manuals and strings. We also translate marketing and product texts such as catalogues, brochures, websites and patient handbooks as well as texts for the Human Resources departments of large pharmaceuticals companies, including forms, competence lexicons and regulations.

EMA Guidelines

The quality of a medical-pharmaceutical translation is not only determined by linguistic aspects, but also by the correct use of terminology and formulations which have been established for mandatory use throughout Europe. Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations always works to the latest guidelines drawn up by the European Medicines Agency, the EU body responsible for evaluating and supervising medicines for human and veterinary use within the European Union. We also use translation tools to ensure a proper and consistent use of terminology.
