Our office on the edge of the Bio Science Park in Leiden has a team of more than 20 professionals at your service, including our in-house translators and revisers, all of whom are qualified at higher professional or university level. Besides this, we work with specialised, experienced external translators in the Netherlands and abroad. All of our translators translate exclusively into their native language. During the last 20 years we have built up a worldwide network of translators and interpreters, selected and recruited by our Vendor Unit.

The translation management department consists of project managers who have been selected for their flexibility and their ability to handle strict deadlines. Our sales staff is made up of qualified account managers and a sales manager.

Wilkens c.s. keeps continually abreast of technological developments. We use the latest multimedia technologies to facilitate, improve and speed up the translation process.

 

We were one of the first translation agencies in the Netherlands to attain ISO 9001:2000-certification, in 2004. This means that we have formally documented, stringent quality management procedures and all work is carried out in accordance with these. Skilled revisers double check all translations for completeness, spelling, grammar and a correct rendition of the source text, before sending them to the customer.

Since 15 March 2010 we are certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and NEN-EN 15038:2006. NEN-EN 15038 is the European standard for translation services and serves as the guideline for all our internal processes and self-evaluation.
